A Mustang Million to Remember

The Mustang Million competition took place in Ft. Worth, Tx, September of 2013.

England’s Versatile Horsemanship was represented by three competitors and five mustangs, in eighteen classes total with fantastic results. What a great example Troy, Riva, and Michael, set for the EVH Program!

After only 5 months of working with his first horse, Hershey, Troy competed in the 3 classes of the Youth division. Troy placed 2nd overall as Reserve Champion for his age division, 8-12. Great job Troy and Hershey!

Riva showed two mustangs, Shimmer of Gold and Shine Like a Diamond, in 2 divisions, Walk/Trot and Specialty. She placed in the top 5 in each of her three classes, with a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place, with Shimmer of Gold. Riva beautifully exhibited the true versatility of the EVH Program with Shine Like a Diamond over the 3 days and 6 classes entered: Dressage, Jumping, Freestyle, Reining Pattern, Cow Work and Trail. Congratulations Riva for placing in the Top 10, on average. Thank you for demonstrating the versatility of the Mustang Horse, and how the natural foundation of the EVH
Program improves performance in all disciplines!

Michael Battenfield, Certified Colt Starter and Difficult Horse Trainer, of the EVH Apprentice Program, proved his hard work of the last 5 months. He showed two horses, Anya and Woodrow, and ranked an average of the 90th percentile in all his classes, not to mention making it to the top 20 Finals where he placed 14th overall out of 158 competitors. Congratulations Michael for your outstanding accomplishment!

A big Thank You! to all of our sponsors and supporters. We could not have done this without y’all!
